Amoy?s latest innovation sees the introduction of new Amoy Sticky Glazes to bring fresh ways of creating Oriental meals at home.
Amoy Sticky Glazes give consumers the opportunity to make restaurant-style cuisine in their own kitchen and are available in three varieties: Peanut Satay, Sweet Soy and Chinese Barbecue.
In-store from the middle of November, each has an RSP of ?1.49 and will serve up to four people.
Oriental cooking is currently dominated by the stir-fry, but research suggests consumers are looking for a greater variety of cooking techniques.
The Amoy Sticky Glaze is designed as an easy cooking method for consumers to add to their repertoire.
Created using ingredients sourced from Asia, the Amoy Sticky Glaze is poured over meat or vegetables, and then either oven or grill cooked for a vibrant tasting meal.
The launch is being supported with in-store activation and trade promotions to drive trial.
In addition, a new packaging design has been revealed across the whole Amoy range.
This new look aims to highlight the foodie credentials of the brand, with all products linking directly to recipes on amoy.co.uk.
Amoy marketing manager Helen Tarragano said:
?Our mission is to make inspiring Asian meals easy to create at home.
?We know our core consumers are passionate foodies with adventurous tastes, but their busy lives mean they need dinners that are quick to make.
?We believe our new Amoy Sticky Glazes will bring excitement to weekday meals, creating a tasty restaurant quality meal quickly.
?We?re pleased to announce this launch in conjunction with our new-look packaging which will help us inspire even more consumers with Oriental cuisine.?
