Fieldrunners 2, our favorite Tower Defense game, has been updated to version 1.4 and with it comes all new weapons, all new items, and widescreen 16:9 support for the all new iPhone 5.
Those new weapons include the Polymorph Tower, the first high-speed slow tower, and Napalm Tower, which they claim is their hottest tower yet. The new items include the Santa Strike, which is ho-ho-holy Christmas explosive, the Frostinator, which turns attackers into snow. You can get superpacks of 3 Santas, 3 rewinds, and 3 frostinators, or an ultrapack with 9 of each.
If you're already defending your towers against the magic and might of Fieldrunners 2, hit the App Store for the update. If you haven't tried it yet, go grab it now. It's obliteratingly fun.
